Studying Physics at This Level

This course allows you to dive into the phenomena of the universe and the theories that explain them.

Throughout the course, you’ll explore various branches of Physics, including Particles and Radiation, Nuclear Physics, Astrophysics, and Mechanics.

You will study a range of topics such as supernovas, black holes, molecular kinetic theory, quarks, and antiquarks.

By engaging with these topics, you’ll develop a solid understanding of the core principles of Physics, preparing you to formulate your own hypotheses as you continue your studies.

This course bundle provides you with all the necessary A Level and iA Level Physics materials, along with the exams required for qualification.

The exams will encompass everything from periodic motion to thermal physics and other related topics, and will be presented as multiple-choice, short-answer, and long-answer questions.

Once the course is completed, you’ll possess the knowledge to further pursue Physics at a university level and beyond.

Getting Started:

Learndirect is one of the UK's top providers of distance learning, making us experts in delivering comprehensive Physics courses.

You can tailor your learning around personal commitments such as work or family life, with no need for physical classrooms or fixed schedules.

Since the course is entirely online, you can progress at your own pace, completing it as quickly or slowly as you prefer. The only fixed deadline is your exam, which is held once a year in May or June for A Levels, and twice a year (in summer and autumn) for iA Levels.

Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll have access to all the necessary learning materials through our online portal, and you can begin immediately.

You’ll also have the support of a dedicated tutor throughout the course, providing feedback on assignments and offering guidance when needed.

This flexible structure ensures you can complete your A/iA Level in Physics in a way that suits your lifestyle and learning preferences.

Career Prospects:

An A Level or iA Level in Physics can open doors to university studies in Physics. However, each university may have specific entry requirements, so make sure to check the necessary grades for both Physics and related subjects.

Important Information:

You won’t be able to book your exam until all course fees are paid in full, including any additional charges as stated in your original contract.

Courses funded through our partner Premium Credit Limited must be settled directly with them.
